Now Available: Kindle with U.S. and International Wireless Access

Amazon announced a few weeks ago that the Kindle would soon be available with international wireless access. The 6″ International Kindle is now available, and is eligible for one-day shipping (though not for same-day shipping).

The new Kindle has the same specs as the 6″ second generation Kindle, but with the important addition of 3G coverage in over 100 countries. Amazon has even provided a wireless coverage map for users to decide if this Kindle will be appropriate for their international travel needs.

The U.S./International wireless Kindle is $279 and available only at Amazon.com.
