Kindle 2 Has Started Shipping

Ship notifications have gone out to Amazon customers for the Kindle 2. Despite internet reports that Kindle 2 is shipping early, the UPS tracking for my order (and many others, I’m sure) indicates that UPS has received the billing information for my shipment. The item has not actually been picked up from UPS yet.

As soon as my Kindle 2 arrives (estimated delivery date, thanks to Amazon Prime, is February 25th), I’ll be posting unboxing photos and a complete comparison of the Kindle 1 and Kindle 2.
