A new e-reader featuring a roll-out screen – similar to rolling out a piece of parchment – has been delayed due to financial issues. The Readius, made by Polymer Vision, is small enough to fit in your back pocket and utilizes the same e-ink technology that the Amazon Kindle and several other e-readers use.
Wired.com covers the delay which was caused by the economic troubles the whole nation is facing. The company had intended to launch the device in the U.S. early this year, and the production chain is already in place. A new launch plan has yet to be announced.
