Celebrity Kindle: Former Vice President Dick Cheney

In a recent interview with former Vice President Dick Cheney, he mentioned that he owns a Kindle. The author writes,

Suddenly a man of leisure, Cheney has a Kindle, Amazon’s wireless reading device, and said he used it recently to read James M. McPherson’s new Tried by War: Abraham Lincoln as Commander in Chief.

We wonder if Mr. Cheney will be upgrading to the new Kindle 2, or will stick with the classic version he already has.

Incidentally, Abraham Lincoln biographies are very hot right now in the literary world. It seems every must-read book list right now contains at least one Lincoln bio or study, most likely inspired by Lincoln’s recent 200th birthday celebration.
