I started this site in March 2008 as LightMyKindle.com. I had received an original Amazon Kindle as a wedding gift and saw the need for a resource for Kindle owners to find information and tips about their device. The site moved to the new domain name – KindleNewsAndReviews.com – in February 2009 to celebrate the launch of Amazon’s Kindle 2.
