When the iPad was first announced, it was initially said that the device would only have the bookstore be available in the United States. It looks like someone told Apple that the Kindle international’s doing quite well, and there’s money to be made there.

The Kindle software is already available on iPhone and PC, and is now available for BlackBerry.

As executive producer and writer on “The Big Bang Theory,” Bill Prady sure knows about geeky gadgets. When the new Apple iPad was announced last week, Prady tweeted about the superiority of his Kindle, at least for sunlight reading.
I have a feeling Prady had something to do with the Kindle...
